Rosy Pink Floral Block Print Katan Silk Suit | Phuhaar
Grey and white flowers repeat across vivid pink, with a fringed dupatta band.
Why this piece
- Grey and white together soften a vivid pink in a way a single contrast colour cannot.
- The dupatta runs one decorative band along its length and ends in a fringe.
- 2.5 metres in every piece, stitchable up to 4XL with a customised length.
The print
The floral repeat is dense and even, and the two contrast colours give the surface a slightly textured look from a distance - closer to a woven texture than a flat print. The dupatta breaks from the repeat with a single decorative band and fringed edges.
Wearing it
This is the shade for celebrations in daylight - a mehendi, a house function, a festival morning - and it settles down for the office with plain grey accessories. Silver jewellery suits the grey in the print better than gold. Real hand block printing on katan silk, made in Bhagalpur, is a combination almost nobody offers at this price. Block printed by hand, and still dispatched the next working day.

Some flowers carry more ink than their neighbours, and rows sit a hair apart. Hand block printing always does - it is the evidence, not the defect.
