The script panels

The layout is panelled rather than all-over: bands of calligraphy alternate with clean linear stripes, and the edges are kept straight and unfussy so the lettering stays the whole point. White breaks the magenta at intervals and keeps the density readable.

Katan silk gives it a soft sheen and a graceful drape, stays opaque enough to stitch unlined, and keeps the set light on the shoulder.

A straight kurta suits this one best - the panels want long, uninterrupted lines rather than gathers. Keep the jewellery minimal and let the script do the talking.
